Under the Essential® and Vana-Sana™ brands, we have developed base powders and nutritional oil powders containing nutrients for early life. They provide an ideal basis for, or addition to, differentiated bespoke formulations that reflect the preferences of parents. We’re dedicated to developing tailor-made applications according to our customers’ needs. Final formulations can be manufactured by dry blending one of our base powders with other ingredients.
Base powders make up approximately 60-95% of a final formula recipe, depending on whether it is an infant, follow-on or young child product. They can easily be combined with specific ingredients for desired composition and differentiation to support unique positioning. Nutritional oil powders are encapsulated oil blends which contain proteins and carbohydrates. They can be used as a basis or an addition to final products.

When lactose is not fully digested, it reaches the ileum, where it supports the growth of beneficial bacteria in the gut.
