Our Innovation Centre in Wageningen, the Netherlands, is where we unlock the nutritional power of fresh milk to develop industry-leading ingredients to nourish infants and young children and support pregnant women during this important period in life. The Wageningen Campus has long been renowned as an international hub for nutrition and food technology R&D, which FrieslandCampina is proud to have been a part of since 2013. Here, over 400 of our own employees, including researchers and experts of all kinds, cooperate closely with innovation partners like Wageningen University, as well as other international knowledge institutes and partners, our member dairy farmers, global customers and suppliers. Over 4,600 square metres of laboratories, pilot plants and experience centres, our experts investigate how dairy ingredients can benefit human health while exploring new technologies that support the manufacturing process and reduce environmental impact.
